Councilwoman Liz Sierawski
History and Evaluation of the Candidate
Councilwoman Sierawski was appointed to replace outgoing Councilman Joseph V. Romano, to whom she narrowly lost in a race for an open seat as a Macomb County Commissioner. Mrs. Sierawski, who works as a visiting nurse, brings a philosophy of maintaining and improving the quality of life for residents and fiscal conservatism to her duties on council. This will be her first attempt at running for City Council in Sterling Heights, a post she has held since the beginning of 2017.
Mrs. Sierawski considers herself to be a social moderate and fiscal conservative who holds pro-life and pro-Second Amendment sentiments.
